Well, judging by the name of this mod, the XtraBlocks Extreme Edition mod by MindKrafter, adds more blocks of course. However, he’s done more then that. This mod adds a variety of new block ID’s that you are free to add any textures you like. The Block ID’s include that of liquids, wood, glass, stairs, slabs, doors, even cake. They all of course have their own recipes, which you can check out on the minecraftforum thread, but that’s not the main idea of the mod.| Developer | MindKrafter |

Judging by this picture here, I’m sure it’s fairly obvious that the textures of these blocks aren’t exactly… complete. They are there for texture artists to change into anything they like. After a good texture artist plays around with this mod, it could look amazing. There is literally hundreds of blocks and items that are available in this mod to wrap any sort of texture you’d like onto them. This might not interest everyone, but for builders to have access to a variety of textures like this, could make it possible for some brilliant looking creations. I personally would love to see this mod in the hands of a popular builder and see what comes out.
